as i have stated before the doctors have had me doing weekly BPPs since i was 31 weeks because of how tiny Orion is.

Well today we had a quite a scare at my BPP doc appt.

During the BPP, when the technician went to check the heartbeat..it was lower than normal..WAY LOWER.

so after searching around him to find out why we came to find out that Orion had his umbilical cord WRAPPED AROUND HIS HAND AND WAS SQUEEZING IT! which in turn cut off his oxygen supply!!

We had to get him to let go because with him being soo small, it was a huge risk!!!

After some pushing and noise maker, he finally let go and we continued the test and he passed with flying colors!

He is so difficult just like his daddy! :P <3

buuuttt…. apparently this is VERY common for babies to do this while in utero. They will grasp the cord until they pass out and then let go and startle awake. and then continue to due this over and over again..

I have come to the conclusion my child is just masochistic…
